  • When you need to give an advance for any service, never give more than 50% of the total amount. The balance can be given once the work is finished and you are satisfied.
  • Supermarkets generally open between 7am (Tottus) 8am (Plaza Vea) and 9am (Wong).
  • Banks between 9 and 9.15am, and shops and shopping centers in general at 11am.
  • There are supermarkets with websites that offer online shopping with home delivery or store pick ups.
  • There are also APPS with which you can order food for delivery from a restaurant or to make purchases on demand in a non-detailed location. These applications are Rappi and Glovo. They buy what you need and take it wherever you need.
  • Some districts allow vehicles to park at no cost on the street, others charge a nominal fee between S/ 0.50 and S/ 1.00 per hour.
  • You will often find people who offer to take care of your car. It is advisable to accept and give them a tip of S/ 1.00.
  • The products sold in traffic lights (books, CDs and videos, etc.) are generally unauthorized copies.
  • It should be noted that in the San Isidro area vehicles cannot park on public roads for more than 2 hours for vehicles that do not live in San Isidro and 3 hours for residents of the area. This is generally from Monday to Friday during office hours.
  • You must be careful not to park the vehicle on public roads where there is a yellow line. The fine is expensive or the vehicle can be inpounded.
